Initially, Ashely attended yoga classes as a means to counter the negative effects of a high impact fitness routine. She had begun to realize that, over time, the pavement had taken a noticeable toll on her knees and joints. Supplementing her regular exercise with yoga appeared to be a logical solution. It didn’t take long for her to recognize that the benefits of yoga far transcended simply stretching. Her mind and soul were also being nourished.
As Ashely began her yoga study, she determined that yoga is a journey for her mind, body and soul. Soon, she decided to enroll in Yoga Teacher Training. In building her personal practice and developing her teaching philosophy, she seeks to bridge the mind, body and soul through meditation, asana and mindful breathing. When the three are yoked, she can truly separate herself from distractions that exist both externally and internally. As a teacher, she seeks to guide her students to their own Samadhi-liberation.
Ashely received my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Hayat Yoga Shala. Additionally, she am certified in Reiki 1 and Reiki 2. In her classes, she combines the yoga and energy healing in order to promote physical growth and health, chakra balancing and positive energy.
